Simple Boiled Prawns

The first time I had boiled prawns was on a small dock, in a rural bay near Ketchikan. We were fishing for chum salmon on our first boat, and some fishermen invited us to a shrimp and crab boil. One big stainless pot over an open flame, a few racks of Rainier, and great company. I couldn't believe how sweet and succulent these shrimp were, straight out of the ocean. I WAS HOOKED!
